SYNOPSIS
Nina returns home to the village where she grew up. She finds her brother waiting for her, as well as the old family house they inherited. In a journey through present and past, Nina will have to find her inner peace and heal from wounds she didn’t know she had.
ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Asiyat Gamzatova is a Turin and Berlin based writer/director. She graduated with an MA in Film Directing from Screen Academy Scotland and her graduation short film CANDELINE, has been selected at several international festivals. Her latest short film, FIUME, was realised in the framework of the Piemonte Factory Project and premiered at the 39th Torino Film Festival.
ABOUT THE CREATIVE PRODUCER
Haris Tsampas was born on 1988, in small town nearby Athens. After some years in school, he went to Thessaloniki, where he studied Cinema, in Aristotetle University. Intrested inPolitics and adventures he travelled a bit until he ended up in Athens working his way through Greek Cinema in various production tasks and positions. Lately, he is trying to produce the films he’d love to watch on the big screen.
